Youth Uniformed Groups Volunteer Award (Volunteer Hours)

Eligibility for Application 

  • Candidates MUST possess a valid HKSAR identity card, or special approval from the HKSAR government to carry out volunteering activities in Hong Kong (Non-permanent residents of HKSAR shall check with the Immigration Department for their eligibility to carry out volunteering activities and if applicable, obtain the necessary permit)
  • Aged 39 or below (born on 1 January 1985 or after)
    * The age as of 31 December 2024
  • This award aims to recognise the youth’s contribution to the community through volunteering under the capacity of uniformed groups
  • Have a track record of continuous and active participation in volunteering and promoting volunteerism in Hong Kong, across the border or overseas. All service records for the period 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024 MUST be endorsed and submitted by the designated uniformed groups

Judging and Selection Criteria

  1. Youth Uniformed Groups Volunteer Top Three Highest Hour Award (Top 3 individuals with the highest service hours)
  2. 100 volunteer hours or above: Excellence Award
  3. 25 volunteer hours or above: Certificate of Appreciation
