To promote social harmony by uniting housing estate' s residents to participate in volunteer activities and to serve people in need. Caring Estate Award is awarded based on the total volunteer service hours or volunteer services performed by estate volunteer group in the period 1 January to 31 December annually.

Eligibility for Application

Estate volunteer groups organised or supported by residents' organisations of public or private buildings/ estates in Hong Kong. (Including owners' corporations, owners' committees, property management companies or Hong Kong-registered residents' organisations.)

Judging and Selection Criteria

1. Estate volunteer group MUST have completed at least 2 volunteer services or has volunteered at least 100 service hours from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024. Qualified estate will be awarded Caring Estate certificate and entitled to use the "Caring Estate" logo for the year
2. Top ten estate volunteer groups with the highest volunteer hours will be awarded Top 10 Caring Estate
3. Individual service records of estate volunteers for the period of 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024 could be endorsed and submitted by the estate, and qualified individuals will be awarded the individual certificate according to the judging and selection criteria of the Individual Award (Volunteer Hours)
