The award recognises youth volunteers’ contributions to volunteering, and pays tribute to youth volunteers’ outstanding performance and achievements in promoting volunteering through their personal expertise/ professional knowledge and skills. It aims to enhance public awareness and social recognition and establish an exemplary volunteering model for the community to participate in youth volunteer services.

Eligibility for Application 

• Candidates MUST possess a valid HKSAR identity card, or special approval from the HKSAR government to carry out volunteering activities in Hong Kong (Non-permanent residents of HKSAR shall check with the Immigration Department for their eligibility to carry out volunteering activities and if applicable, obtain the necessary permit)

• Aged 39 or below (born on 1 January 1985 or after)*

• Have a track record of continuous and active participation in volunteering and promoting volunteerism in Hong Kong, across the border or overseas. All service records for the period 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024 MUST be endorsed by registered commercial or non-profit organisations, including: government departments, statutory bodies, chambers of commerce, professional bodies or uniformed groups; and nominated by an individual or organisation
