The Hong Kong Volunteer Award is made possible with the funding support of:
Outstanding Collaboration Project Award and Outstanding Youth Volunteer Project Award
Outstanding Collaboration Project

This award commends the volunteer project collaboration between different organizations, which meet the needs of society and support the target community groups by carrying out creative ideas and mobilizing resources effectively. Encouraging partnership, the Award promotes different organizations to collaborate, making effort to serve our society effectively, creatively and sustainably.


Eligibility:

  1. Project involving the partnership between at least 2 *independent organizations
  2. The project was in operation from 1st January 2022 to 31st December 2022, service records MUST be endorsed by a recognized local organization
  3. Be self-nominated by one of the partnering organizations

*Registered companies, registered non-profit organizations, government departments, statutory bodies, chambers of commerce, professional bodies or uniformed groups


Judging and Selection Criteria:

  • Contributions of the Collaboration Project to the Community
  • Collaboration Organizations’ Involvement and Contributions
Outstanding Youth Volunteer Project Award

The award recognizes projects initiated and implemented by youth volunteers, which address social needs and utilize innovative ideas and resources to serve the target communities. The award aims to encourage more youth to participate in voluntary services through innovative concepts and sustainable elements.


Eligibility:

  1. The Youth volunteer project MUST be initiated and implemented by youth (born on 31 December 1992 or after). For group/organization projects, core member(s) of the group/organization MUST be youth, and youth participants MUST be over 50% of the total number of group/organization members
  2. The project was implemented during the period 1st January 2022 to 31st December 2022, service records MUST be endorsed by a recognized local organization
  3. Can be self-nominated or be nominated by a beneficiary organization

  • Creativity and Sustainability of the Project
  • Contributions of the Project to the Community
  • Special Considerations
