It aims to enhance public awareness and social recognition and establish an exemplary volunteering model for the community to participate in youth volunteer services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Eligibility for Application<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Candidates MUST possess a valid HKSAR identity card, or special approval from the HKSAR government to carry out volunteering activities in Hong Kong (Non-permanent residents of HKSAR shall check with the Immigration Department for their eligibility to carry out volunteering activities and if applicable, obtain the necessary permit)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Volunteer group MUST comprise at least three members; a list of the volunteer group members MUST be submitted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All core members of the youth volunteer group and at least half of the group members should be aged 39 or below (born on 1 January 1986 or after)*<br><sub>*The age as at 31 December 2025<\/sub><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Have a track record of continuous and active participation in volunteering and the promotion of volunteerism in Hong Kong or outside Hong Kong. All service records undertaken during the period from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025 MUST be endorsed and submitted by a registered entity, including but not limited to corporations, non-governmental or non-profit organisations, government departments, statutory bodies, chambers of commerce, professional bodies or uniformed groups. In addition, the nomination must be submitted by either an individual or organisation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Judging and Selection Criteria<\/strong>*<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To be selected by the Judging Panel according to the below judging criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">* All judging items will be based on the activities, policy and impact in the year of 2025 (1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Contributions to the Community<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Volunteer Performance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Service Involvement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Special Considerations<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The award recognises youth volunteer groups\u2019 contributions to volunteering, and pays tribute to youth volunteer groups\u2019 outstanding performance and achievements in promoting volunteering through their personal expertise\/ professional knowledge and skills.
