Past Awardees<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hong Kong Volunteer Award (HKVA) was first launched in 2005 by AVS. The biennial HKVA not only raised public awareness of the value of volunteering, but also facilitated the development of sustainable volunteerism in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2022, the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and AVS co-organised and launched a new recognition scheme: the Hong Kong Volunteer Award (\u201cHKV-Award\u201d) included \u201cVolunteer Hour Awards\u201d and \u201cOutstanding Awards\u201d, \u201cCaring Estate\u201d and \u201cCaring School\u201d were also established to motivate more young people to participate in volunteering and to build a caring and inclusive society.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
